Rakkaat ystävät ja lajin harrastajat, kilpailuiden tekijät, kauppiaat ja yhteistyökumppanit. Meillä kaikilla on ollut nyt muutamia päiviä aikaa ymmärtää, mitä viime viikolla tapahtui. IAME Finland -maahantuoja Teemu Anttila siirtyi meidän, mutta etenkin lähiomaistensa, suruksi kohti seuraavia kilparatoja. Levätköön hän siellä rauhassa ja me voimme yhdessä lämmöllä muistella yhteistä taivaltamme vuosien varrella. Pyydämme edelleen, että annatte sururauhan perheelle ja lähiomaisille. Ja niin, kukista Teemu ei juuri perustanut.
Asiat kuitenkin varmasti konkretisoituvat vasta kauden ensimmäisessä tapahtumassa koko yhteisölle. Monet ovatkin hieman epätietoisena kyselleet sarjan kohtalosta, johon on vain yksi järkähtämätön vastaus. Teemu lähti mukaan IAME Finland- ja IAME Series Finland -projekteihin täydellä sydämellä ja hänen tahtonsa hoitaa asiat oikeudenmukaisesti ja kunnialla on esimerkki meille kaikille. Se on myös perintö ja muisto, jota me haluamme vaalia.
IAME Series Finland järjestetään kaudella 2022 suunnitellusti. Kauden valmistelut on pitkälti tehty. Mietimme talven aikana sitä, miten voimme kehittää sarjaa entistä parempaan suuntaan ja päädyimme ratkaisuun tehdä kauden ennakkokyselyn, loppukyselyn ja jokaisesta kilpailusta palautekyselyn, jotta voimme paremmin välittää teidän radoille ja paremmin keskittää harrastajien kannalta oikeisiin asioihin Julkaisemme tämän kyselyn lähipäivinä ja toivomme, että vastaatte siihen aktiivisesti.

Näinä aikoina meidän on pidettävä yhtä ja tuettava toisiamme erilaisissa kriiseissä. Yhdessä tulemme niistä selviämään, mutta emme unohda mennyttä. Dear friends, drivers, event creators, dealers, and partners, we have all had a couple of days to understand what happened last week. IAME Finland importer, Teemu Anttila, passed away, causing deep sorrow to us all and especially to his close family. May he rest in peace, and now we must only remember warmly our common journey. We still need to ask you to give the family time to mourn. Also, it’s important to note that Teemu didn’t much like flowers.
We, the community, will most likely face the reality in practice only in the first event. Some people have also been asking about the future of the series, but there’s only one simple answer to that question. Teemu joined the IAME Finland and IAME Series Finland projects with all his heart, and his will to do things fairly and with honor is an example to us all. It is also a legacy and a memory we want to cherish.
IAME Series Finland will be organised in the 2022 season as planned. Preparations for the season have mostly been completed. During the winter, we thought about how we could develop the series even better, and decided to do a pre-season survey, a end-of-the-season survey and a feedback survey after each race, so we can better give feedback to the tracks and focus on the right things for participants. We will publish the questionnaire within a couple of days an we hope that you will answer it actively.
IAME importing arrangement is being studied, and there are some delays for both legal and practical reasons. We are looking for the best possible solution together with the current owner, IAME factory, and IAME promoter. We ask for a bit of patience in this matter, but we will try to resolve the challenges as quickly as possible to guarantee full service to the customers.
During these times, we need to stick together and support each other in different kinds of crisis. Together we will survive but we won’t forget the past. Thank you Teemu, you made history with us and you gave so much to the sport and to us, on and off track as a professional and a human being.
