Toni Vilander on yksi menestyneimmistä suomalaisista autourheilijoista. Hän on Ferrarin ammattikuljettaja, MM- ja Le Mans -voittaja. Tämän viikonlopun jälkeen tiedämme miten hän pärjää Porissa IAME Series Finland -kartingsarjassa X30 Master -luokassa. Toni kuului keväällä menehtyneen IAME-maahantuojan Teemu Anttilan ystäväpiiriin ollen myös hänen entinen kilpakumppani. Toni on tullut kilpailemaan Poriin haastamaaan itsenään ja kunnioittaakseen Teemun muistoa. Vaikka asiayhteys on hieman surullinen, niin silti Toni antaa osallistumisellaan takaisin todella paljon lajille ja kokemuksia kanssakilpailijoille. Pori on vuoden neljäs kilpailuviikonloppu ja toiseksi viimeinen ennen sarjan päätösviikonloppua Lahdessa 3.-4.9.2022. IAME World Final -kilpailu ajetaan lokakuussa perinteisellä Le Mansin radalla Ranskassa, jossa kohtaavat maailman parhaimmat X30-kartingkuljettajat.
Toni Vilander is one of the most successful Finnish motorsport drivers. He’s a professional Ferrari driver, World Champion and Le Mans winner. After this weekend we also know how well he’ll do in X30 Master class of IAME Series Finland. Toni was one of the friends of the former IAME importer, Teemu Anttila, who sadly passed away in the spring. Toni is here to not only to challenge himself but also to respect Teemu’s memory. Even if the situation is a bit sad, he gives a lot back to other competitors and to the sport by participating to the karting event. Now you have an amazing opportunity to follow X Promotions’ livestream broadcast of the event at 9:45 Finnish time. In total 109 drivers have registered to the event in six different classes. Pori is the 4th race weekend of the year before the final race weekend in Lahti on 3-4 September 2022. In October, IAME World Final will take place in Le Mans, France where the best X30 drivers will compete.
